This wife can not get enough of Apron’s! There is just something so sweet and nostalgic about vintage aprons and being in the kitchen (even if it is to make the most ridiculously chocolaty cake to enjoy all by your wife-self)!

Now that the fans have gone home and the food has been cleared, it is time for this little wife to put her feet up and RELAX! Parties are a lot of wife fun, but a ton of wife work! 
So let us begin with the MENU! Honey BBQ Roasted Pork Loin, Taco Dip (the easiest recipe ever), BBQ Little Weenies, Bacon-Wrapped Little Weenies, Deviled Eggs, Spinach & Bacon Deviled Eggs, “Most-Requested” Bread Bowl Spinach Dip, Cheesy Rotel Meat Dip, Chocolate Fondue (with marshmallows), Puppy Chow, Chocolate Chip Dip and more, and more and more! The list goes on forever!
The Party FAVORS: Football Noisemakers and of course Pom Pom’s!
Party DECOR: Many of the purchased items came from Oriental Trading & Hobby Lobby. A few of the homemade items, were simple purchases with a few added details. Food labels were made with scarpbooking paper supplies and stickers! However, the background paper actually felt like a real football (very cute wifey detail)!

For some wives, they will never to have experience what is like to scoop snow, to shovel sidewalks, to drive on icy roads or bundle up when it is cold outside! Nor will they ever drive through their local coffee shop, roll down their window and have it freeze open once it is rolled down. This wife is playing no joke, on the way to the little wife job this morning the temp was a whopping -24 and the local weather team is hopeful we will reach a high of -5 degrees!

Happy New Year (almost)! As a wife, it is very exciting to prepare for the NEW YEAR! You get a chance to have a FRESH START and of course, set new goals! Many of us wives know, many of the goals we set may never happen; however, it is good to have something to strive for!

As the wifey, it is often times your responsibility to entertain when guests arrive (or when you invite them over).
