Happy New Year (almost)! As a wife, it is very exciting to prepare for the NEW YEAR! You get a chance to have a FRESH START and of course, set new goals! Many of us wives know, many of the goals we set may never happen; however, it is good to have something to strive for!

Before we move ahead, let us reflect on the past. 2008 has been an exciting year! In 2008, I became a wife, I started Being Wife and made tons of new WIFE friends!

Since I mentioned friends, I will be celebrating the end of 2008 and the arrival of 2009 with friends. Which gives this wife good reason to countdown ten favorite New Year beverages to share with your other wife friends!

9) Grapefruit Sparkler from Every Day with Rachael Ray

8) Celebration Fizz from Epicurious.comfrozenchampagnedrink

7) Jelled Champagne “Dessert” from Taste of Home

6) Bellini Complex from Avalon Wine (SO SO GOO)!

5) Although there are many listed on this particular page, my favorite by far is the Berry Sparkler! The Food Network is great for all kinds of fun WIFE entertaining!

pomegranate-champagne-cocktail4) Bourbon Cocktail from Rachael Ray may not have the traditional New Year’s Eve champagne, but it is wonderfully delicious and a fun color! Although it tells you to garnish with an orange peel, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries are great too!

3) Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail from the Hostess with the Mostess is just so darn cute and so very tasty! A favorite for all the wives at your party!

2) Champagne, Darling? a FROZEN fun New Year’s Eve drink and just the perfect kick to get you in the mood to celebrate!

1) Classic Champagne Cocktail from the Food Network (by far a wife favorite for all)!
