This wife considers her heart special. Your heart serves many purposes, but the main one is LIFE! When asked to participate in a very public viewing of “Better U” with the Go Red for Women organization of the American Heart Association I said, “sure, sounds like fun.”
This wife should have said, “my heart needs it, thank you for asking me.” Did you know heart disease is the No. 1 killer among women? How sad and scary. Think of the women you are close with…your mother, a sister, your aunt, a grandmother, a best friend? Would you want them to be another statistic?
