This wife loves to blog, but sometimes checking out other blogs is just as fun! I stumbled across a blog (thanks to a dear wife friend) a while back! Every time I go back to visit, I am giving it more and more “wife” love! It is adorable! Even better, the owner of the blog is a WIFE (with four kids too)! A few Wife “clean bathroom” tricks! March 28, 2009
The bathroom seems to be a never ending battle in this wife’s home. The hubby has yet to break a few old habits and it shows (DAILY). So how to make the cleaning process simple after your one big DEEP SPRING clean? Wife easy!
That yucky shower curtain liner (the clear one) looking dingy? You can do one of two things. First you can try putting it in the washing machine (no joke)! Wash the liner alone, on warm/cold using a 1/2 cup of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, let it air dry. This is not a guarantee fix but it usually makes it much cleaner. If the liner comes out looking dingy still…time for a new one! They are usually inexpensive (between $2-10) to replace. 
Although I am sure there are many wives out there that love good old fashion BAR SOAP, make your bathroom process cleaner by using liquid soap (use a refillable dispenser). The big perk to the switch…no more hard to scrub soap scum!

Oh the never ending list of SPRING CLEANING PROJECTS! Put on your Carolyn’s Kitchen Apron and gloves, or bust our your most wife favorite apron from Heavenly Hostess, put on some good tunes and START CLEANING!
Tip #1: Cleaning the Microwave….So the hubby let a few things over cook, boil over, explode or maybe even spill in your microwave…a quick clean is all it needs. Use a microwave safe plastic bowl, fill it 3/4 full with hot water, cut one full lemon into slices and place them in the bowl. Put the bowl (with the lemons) in the microwave on high for at least 5 minutes (may need longer depending on your microwave or mess). The steam (and fresh lemon scent) will make wiping up the spills an easy task (no heavy scrubbing) and the lemons will deodorize the space. Wife Wonderful!

This wife is always in thought (like many of you wives out there I am sure). This morning, during my wife reading time, I came across this…“Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians 4:8
Isn’t this what we wives strive for? Isn’t this the basic spectrum of what we hope to accomplish in our daily tasks as wives? Share this with other wives, find wives that can share this same thought with you.

A wife enjoys sharing her baked goods, and when you share and they are loved, it becomes wife baking heaven!
From the Cookbook What Can I Bring? this wife came across the best recipe for the BEST Banana Bread. No joke!
Best Banana Bread (EVER)!
Vegetable oil spray for misting the loaf pan(s).
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (additional flour for dusting loaf pan)
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons of buttermilk
3 large eggs
1 cup mashed bananas (3 large, slightly over ripened)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Is it possible to be at a level of exhaustion where you are up, going through your day, but nothing really is getting done at Wife Home, Wife Work or Wife Life?
Clearly there are some wives out there that can relate? The Wife To-Do List is growing but the pen I am using to check of my done to-do’s is out of ink!

Happy WIFEY March to all! Although March seems to be most associated with being the end of the Winter and the beginning of a much anticipated Spring, it is also full of wonderful WIFE events and celebrations!
For starters, March is National Women’s History Month (which is a great way to not only recognize all the wonderful women in the world, but also a few wonderful wives)! Stay tuned as we pay Wife patronage to those famous wives before us!
Also, just to give you a quick wife “perk-up” we are only 17 days away from SPRING! Spring Wife Cleaning is just around the corner!
